WED 23 July 2008 19H00 Liturgy: “Mediated” @ Amahoro (Simonstown) NIC. Directions: Travel through Simonstown, approx 1km after Boulders Beach there will be a sign to Rocklands Centre to the right up the mountain. This road leads into the centre. If you start seeing many baboons you have either gone too far, or the mushrooms on your pizza were not the garden variety.

Cafe Verdi is quaint pub situated opposite the park in Wynberg where the Maynardville Theatre does Shakespeare every year. We gather to drink, socialise and chat around our ideas and experiences related to spirituality and faith.

Sunday @ #1 Malton

Pushing forward with our desire to explore community and spirituality we’re meeting every second Sunday at 9.30am at #1 Malton Avenue in Wynberg. We’re going through a season of exploring various practices. This season sees various people leading the communal experience of worship. There’s no set script for what we’re doing. Different people are simply bringing forward things they’ve explored and experienced.

• 13 January: We played with various instruments and then shared our individual stories about how we got to be at #1 Malton. Facilitated by: Tim Victor.
• 27 January: We explored Taize singing, engaged in non-verbal symbolic prayer, and moved a little. Facilitated by: Nic Paton.
• 10 February: We’ll be exploring meditation and guided meditation. Facilitated by: Angela Swinney.
